Hello, I’m Nadine. I’m a trainee integrative counsellor, that allows me to use a range of counselling approaches to work in a way that suits you. I have worked in a range of settings from NHS, University research (KCL), and private practice.
A warm and open space to share. We will work collaboratively together to explore and process the challenges that life brings. I bring warmth, empathy and curiosity with an openness that allows meaningful engagement and connection.
My person-centred approach has compassion and empathy at its heart. Speaking with someone can feel vulnerable – it can be challenging to speak about the difficult parts of life, and I have a deep respect for the courage it takes to do this. As a counsellor I facilitate a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviours and the more challenging parts of experience.
I work with clients with a diverse range of issues including grief, anger, anxiety and depression. I work with neurodiverse clients and their families.
I have a keen interest in mental health research and publish papers in high quality, peer-reviewed journals. See below for a selection of my most recent publications:
• Kendall, N., MacDonald, Binnie, J. (2021). Blogs, identity, stigma and scars: the legacy of self-injury. Mental Health Review Journal, Vol. 26 No. 3, pp. 258-278. doi.org/10.1108/MHRJ-06-2020-0041

It can be hard to take the first step towards getting support. I invite you to reach out if you think we could be the right fit.
