Counsellor

About Me:

Hi, I’m Eleanor a trainee counsellor currently studying Person-Centred Therapy at South Coast Wellbeing and Training in Sussex. I am also a student member of the BACP and adhere to their ethical standards in my practice. My background is in health and workplace psychology where I’ve been involved in research and working with organisations in a number of areas including health behaviour change, vaping, menopause, women’s health conditions, and resilience. In my counselling practice I am passionate about providing a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for people to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

What to Expect:

In our sessions, you can expect a warm and welcoming environment where you can express yourself openly and freely. I believe in the power of listening and working at your own pace, which is why our sessions will be centred around your needs and preferences. Whether you’re seeking support with specific issues or just need someone to talk to, I am here to be with you as you discover more about yourself.

My Approach:

I practice Person-Centred Therapy, which is based on the belief that each person has the ability to find their own solutions when given the right support. I will offer empathy, respect, and genuineness in our work together, empowering you to explore your inner thoughts and emotions.

Area of Focus:

I work with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, bereavement, women’s health issues, neurodiversity and burnout.
