Ed Rennie

Counsellor

About Me:

Hi I’m Ed. I have previously worked in law, teaching and public affairs. However when I worked as Support Line Volunteer for the National Association of People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC), I realised my vocation was to become a therapist.

What to Expect:

I offer integrative, client centred and humanistic therapy. So I look to incorporate different approaches including; cognitive behavioural, existential and psychodynamic, to suit your needs.

My Approach:

My approach is to create a relaxed, calm and gentle environment with a foundation in empathetic listening. For me, counselling is about establishing a relationship of trust and collaboration with you the client, focusing on exploring your needs, and offering emotional support to help you process whatever you bring to our time together.

Area of Focus:

I work to help those who have experienced abuse or trauma of any kind, including grief and loss. I am also open to working with those that suffer from addiction and anxiety.

Lets Connect:

Ultimately I believe that you are the expert when it comes to your life and experiences, my role is to accompany and support you in your healing journey.
