Counsellor

About Me:

I am a trainee counsellor currently in the final year of my Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. My passion for helping others has driven my pursuit of a career in counselling, building on a background in the criminal justice sector, where I have worked within HM Prison Service, the police, and Serco. As a student member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am committed to upholding and working within their ethical framework.

What to Expect:

I understand that seeking therapy can feel daunting, which is why I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment for all my clients. Counselling sessions provide a secure space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and life experiences at a pace that feels right for you. Your comfort and well-being are my top priorities.

My Approach:

I primarily use a person-centred approach, which allows our sessions to be led by you, the client. This approach ensures that you remain in control of the therapeutic process, while I use my skills and expertise to facilitate our sessions in a way that makes you feel heard, comfortable, and safe. Together, we will work to find the most effective path forward for you.

Area of Focus:

I offer support in navigating low mood, anxiety, depression, and various life experiences. No issue is too big or too small to bring to therapy. Whatever challenges you face, you will receive my full empathy and support as we work through them together.

Lets Connect:

If you are seeking a non-judgmental, confidential, and safe space to explore your concerns, and feel that I may be the right counsellor for you, I encourage you to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
