About Me:

Hi, I’m Sam, a trainee Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor at Inside Talk.

I am currently in my second year of training at the University of Roehampton, working towards my Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have worked as a qualified CBT practitioner in the NHS, charity and private sectors since 2022, delivering short-term, goal-focused evidence-based interventions.

I am a student member of the BACP.

In my spare time, I’m a folk-jazz musician.

What to Expect:

I believe that in life, pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional. Our first session will give me an opportunity to learn more about what has brought you to therapy in a safe and non-judgemental space. From there, we will work at a pace that suits you.

My Approach:

Having delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in a variety of environments, I can offer symptom-focused interventions that not only support you to manage but also aid your response to these symptoms if they are getting in the way of living a meaningful life. My Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling is focused on the Person-Centred and Psychodynamic ways of working, which can involve more long-term, relational work if you are curious about how the past can affect the now.

Area of Focus:

Anxiety
Depression
LGBTQIA+
Trauma
OCD
Meaninglessness
Existential issues
Relationship difficulties
Pain management / long-term health conditions

Lets Connect:

If you feel like we could work well together, I offer sessions online and in-person in the Queens-Park area.
